Day 27...Petaluma KOA campground to San Francisco

After waking up early I started my tour towards San Francisco. At first I stopped at Petaluma to get my spoke repaired at the local bakeshop. By riding through small towns it was hard to find my way without a detailed map. So I stopped a lot to ask for the way. By passing the small towns I made a stop to watch a kid's baseball game. By turning back on the road I met a group of six native road bikers training for a big tour to LA on their way to San Francisco, this was perfect so I was able to join the group and had a pleasure ride without stops to ask my way. So I came finally from the north side to San Francisco by passing Sausalito and having a nice view to San Francisco city, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge which I was passing by bike :) Additionally I was riding to my hostel downtown by passing the piers which was amazing.
I stay here in the San Francisco International Hostel (33$ per night, 4 bed dorm).

93,8 km / 988m altitude difference
