Day 25...Fort Bragg to Jenner

Today was an awesome day! When I woke up it was completely sunny and remained all the day! By riding through the very scenic Mendocino County I visited Mendocino, Manchester and Gualala. After arriving at Sonoma County the cities became much smaller but the scenic was as awesome as Mendocino County. The route was going all the day along the coast with a beautiful scenic, completely different to the last days riding through the redwoods. I pushed myself very hard today and made a very good distance even if the route was challenging with very steep climbs. Unfortunately nearly at the end of my day I passed my original destination, Fort Ross State Historical Park, by mistake and recognized it too late. So I decided to ride to the next available place to stay. Even if there was a big hill after Fort Ross which was not planned for today, I was very lucky, when I rode up the hill along the coast the sun went down and I had an awesome view over the coastline. Unfortunately it became very fast dark and it was not possible to reach the next campground on time, the next city I reached was Jenner, a very scenic and expensive village directly on the coast. After several quotes of request which were between 200$ and 300$, I found a hotel who gave me a lodge (Sauna included ;)) for 89$ instead of 198$ because I arrived so late.
So I rewarded myself for a perfect day and a huge distance. I stay here in the Jenner Inn.

155,5 km / 1878m altitude difference
