Second day Vancouver...getting prepared

Very rainy day here in Vancouver. The weather forecast for tomorrow looks same, so I will have a wet start in my journey. My equipment is complete so I am ready to go (Who is interested in what kind of equipment I use, feel free to send me a message). Only thing I have to do tomorrow upfront is sending a package with stuff back to Germany.
I decided not to ride directly south to cross the US border near Vancouver. Instead I will ride first approx. 170 km north to Powell River, move on to Vancouver Island by ferry and drive south to Victoria and cross the US border by ferry, that is the plan for the next few days. This decision is based up on local recommendations and I am also able to see more of the Canadian landscape.
