Day 6...Closing the gap

Today was a successful day. My tour started in Courtenay, passing Parksville and ended up in Nanaimo. The route was along the Highway 19A which is located near the ocean and provides a beautiful view. From now on I am riding on Vancouver Island south to reach directly my final destination in Mexiko. Even if the weather forecast was worse I had no rain until afternoon, unfortunately I had heavy rain for the last two hours of my tour, approx. 10 degrees Celsius during the day. Meanwhile I get used to the rain and the rough Canadian weather washed my last Aloha feelings out of my clothes ;)
I am happy to made some distance today and closed mostly the gap from yesterday.
I am staying here in the Cambie Hostel in Nanaimo (20$ per night). Nice price :)
